I keep getting the following error -

I have followed the advise on the knowledge base for this error and implemented the fixes suggested but the error keeps coming back approx every 2 weeks

Anyone have any ideas?

please perform the following to check if there are any errors on the providers:


1. Open a command prompt on the server in question
2. Type the following command: VSSADMIN LIST WRITERS

All came back -

State: Stable
Last Error: No Errors

This was run approx 20mins after backup failed.

Take a backup with Nt backup to isolate the issue.
