Backup- SPUserCodeV4\Meta-data (<SQL_NetBIOS_Name>\21925782-ed43-4e06-859d-b05fc1474244)V-79-57344-794 - Error: Unable to query the Team database meta-data.
SharePoint 2010 SP1 with the August 2011 Update. SQL Server 2008 R2 Standard Edition with SP1. Backup Exec 2010 R3 SP2. SharePoint and SQL agents.
Tried the suggestions we've found on the web: disabling UAC, see if we could find a hotfix after SP2 (did not find any). We tried with disabling GRT as well. Sill does not work. The native backup in SharePoint 2010 does work.
Anything we could try next to make the backup with Backup Exec work?

Were the remote agents updated after applying SP2 ?
Pls post the debug and the SPS Wrapper logs

Not sure what is meant by SPS Wrapper logs.
I have enabled logging by using this document, entring the -debug parameter, but I have not enabled debugging in the registry.
How to enable or disable "debug logging" in Backup Exec for Windows Servers

These are the logs I see. Should I post these ones? Or are there additional ones?
Backup Exec Server
C:\Program Files\Symantec\Backup Exec\Logs
Here I only see: <server name>-bengine00.log
On the two SharePoint servers (web / application):
C:\Program Files\Symantec\Backup Exec\RAWS\logs
Here I only see <server name>-bengine00.log
On the SQL Server: <server name>-bengine00.log

Symantec has acknowledged that the above-mentioned issue is present in the current version(s) of Backup Exec. This issue is currently under investigation; for the time being, there is no solution.

We are still experiencing this error:
Backup- SPUserCodeV4\Metadata (server\da2d0615-7a68-4e1a-a8ea-6e2ec51540cb)
V-79-57344-794 - Error: Unable to query the Team database meta-data.
Our SPSWrapper.Log looks quite identical as described here:
After Disaster Recovery, SharePoint backups fail for SPUserCodeV4\Metadata
http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH182628
The TECH182628 article was created on 2012-02-29, two or three days after we reported this error. The article has not been updated after that date. Two updates have been released for Backup Exec, but none of them addresses this issue.
What is the current status at Symantec? Are you working with this? Do you have a suggested work-around? What are other people doing when backing up SharePoint 2010?

I found this, after I excluded SPUserCodeV4\Metadata backup finished OK, but I'm not sure if I'll be able restore full Sharepoint environment.....
