Still got this error. Hotfix 164659 installed. (Versiob 13.0 5204 64-bit, Small Business Server 2011 Standard)
We reinstalled complete Symantec Backup Exec 2010 R3.

Anyone got an idea how to solve this ?

Hi,

Are you backing up the SharePoint server locally, or is it a remote server? If remote, did you push-install the latest patches out to the SharePoint server before trying the backup again?

Yes we installed the latest patches to the remote servers (with Tools, install agents) also.

But this is not solving our problem.

That HF fixes the above mentioned error, when the Sharepoint backup fails ONLY if AOFO is enabled in the job...Does it fail ir-respective of AOFO being checked or not ?
