I have created a very simple policy, 2 templates, one does a full backup every 14 days, the second template does a duplicate backup job. Why does BE then schedule the jobs a week apart. Very frustrating. I have tried to change the rule to start the duplicate job as soon as the full backup completes, but that isn't allowed, only 1 rule applies to duplicate backups.
Since in theory the disk will be over written the next night, BE forcing a week in between the jobs means that the data will be lost.
Should I abandon the use of policies?
