Hello,
we have currently 2 sites
- one with several servers and backed up via robotic library
- one with single server with tape library
both running BE 2011r2 (latest version), but each one is stand alone installation.
We are going to create another site with one server and i thought that it would be nice to have one backuping enviroment.
I asume that I will need another licence of BE server and something that covers all three instances.
Does anyone have any tip what should I look at or where to start?

Yes, for each server that has a tape drive connected your will need a Backup Exec Media server license.
If you would like to have central management, you can look for the CASO option (Central Administration Server Option).

As previously said, you will need a full BE licence for your new server. If you don't want to use CASO, you can still use one BE and logon remotely to the other console and manage them.
