Skipped Jet file help!

Unable to open the item C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp\JET2F93.tmp -skipped

Do I have to worry about this file not getting backed up? Thanks for any help!

if the application that created the file used the .tmp extention, it is not supposed to be a critical file. Do a test restore in your test environment to verify, buy I wouldn't worry about it.

This server is at a small firm, and they do not have a test environment. I agree that the file is probably non essential, but because I lack an ability to really test the restore process, skipped files make me nervous.

What if I excluded the entire C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp folder?

Again, anything placed there should not be necessary, so no backing it up shouldn't cause any heartaches if you need to restore

And bypassing the whole dir would definitely remove the "failed" status

Ok Ken, thanks for taking the time to reply.
