Slow backup sets

Good evening

I am duplicating with BE2012SP4 backup sets from the same tape, and tape reader connected to the BE server, to local ntfs disk storage.

The backup sets of VHD files won't duplicate faster then 600 MB/min. IMG folder is created on Bedata folder.

The backup sets of physical machines, like the C: disk, will reach 6000 MB/min while duplicating. BKF files are created in the Bedata folder.

Is this to be expected for virtual machines backup sets with GRT?

Have you made sure that any AV installed isn't perhaps actively scanning the B2D?

If so, put in exclusions and then try again.
