Still no Email Archiving for BE2015/Exchange 2013???

We just got BE2015 installed last week and go everything up and running smoothly. I figured since we are now on BE2015, the Email Archive option would finally be usable. WRONG!

And when I tried to enable the feature today:

12 months later and a two major versions(14,15) later and this still isn't working? What gives! Our licensing renewel is coming up and we plan on simply ditching it since apparently we wasted our money on a feature that doesn't work with our OS. Is there any plans to get this working in the future? Is there even a workaround available?

Unfortunately I have some bad news, if you need archiving facility, you will need to look at the full Enterprise Vault product range and not the Backup Exec range.

If you look at the very latest Backup Exec 15 Software Compatibility List (SCL) then the very last section is called "Retiring Soon" (Page 62)

And in this section we detail that the Archive Option for BE (BEAO) is planned for retirement.

That is a shame to hear, because we cannot justify the price of moving to EV simply to gain email archiving. At least we can not pay to renew the license and pursue other options.
