StoragePool with Datadomain OST

Hi,

one question i have be 2012 and 4 datadomain storage (ost), is not possible to create a storagepool to aggregate this 4 deivce?

Probably not a good idea on general principles i.e.

Server1 backup uses a storage pool and was given OST1 on Day 1 backup

Server1 uses same storage pool but was given OST2 on Day 2 backup - resulting in almost no deduplication between days and therefore resulting in extra storage requirements.

type in 2010 I created a backup exec devicepool contained the 4 ost device and backup exec managed to write the data, because I gave the job to the device pool.
this configuration, a consultant asks me for a client
