Hi:

I try to restore a ful backup to a network location about 500G it run fine on first 200G but fail after error comes with  "access is denied ".

I try twice same after the 200G it said access is denied , i logon the details it said the share network drive ( restore location) didnt install an agent ..

is it a must to install a agent for restoer target ? my idea is that any network drive can be resotre target no limit .

Try restoring without security permissions if restoring to a network share and also try restoring to another server which has a remote agent installed.

Are you restoring from a tape? Was the backup spanned across 2 tapes?

Since the job restores some data, it suggests that the credential is not an issue. I would suggest you to open a case with Symantec for this issue.
