Symantec Anti-Virus 10.1 has Known Conflicts with Backup Exec

When I run the Environment check, I get a message stating that there is a known conflict between Symantec Anti-Virus 10.1 and Backup Exec.  It reference Tech doc 290544, but that isn't any where on the Support web site.  What is the conflict and how do I get around it?  Is it safe to run BE 12 with AV 10.1 or do I have to upgrade my AV environment first?

Hi,
I got the same message. I located the Tech doc.

Summary is:
Backup Exec for Windows Servers (BEWS) fails to perform Granular Restore Technology (GRT) backup with an "access denied" error on a system running Symantec AntiVirus 10.1.

Symantec AntiVirus 10.1.x version prior to 10.1.6.6000 causes GRT backups to fail. To solve the issue, update AntiVirus version 10.1.x to 10.1.6.6000 or later.

I already have 10.1.6.6000 but the Validator didn't detect that.
