Symantec Backup Exec 12.5 Remote agent for Linux and UNIX

I have upgraded from Symantec Backup Exec 11d to 12.5, I installed Backup Exec Remote agent on HP UNIX server but when I tested a backup it gave me an error :

Access to the device Server_Name/root is not authorized by this edition of th product


All other backups apart from HP UNIX server are working absolutely fine.

What version of HP UNIX are you running?

I am using HP-UX B.11.11 U 9000/785 (ta)

Is it PA-RISC platform? That is the only supported platform.

It was working fine with 11d without any issue.

Have you tried creating a new backup and a new selection list.
