Hi Amol, Thanks for your

Hi Amol,

Thanks for your reply! For your kind information my main Backup Exec Server Software is installed at Windows 2003 Server. I am having a Windows 2012 R2 Server & i need to fetch data from that new server. That's why i have installed agent(push installtion) on that new server.

So, do you mean agent don't support at 2012 R2 Platform?

If it does, then what could be the possible resolution for this? Would you like to share some Plan B solution for this?

Expecting your extended help!

BE12.5 does not support Remote Agent too, read SCL from my previous post.

The only option available is

The only option available is to upgrade Backup Exec (media server along with the remote agents) to a newer version which will support Win 2012 R2.

However, do keep in mind that the latest versions of BE do not support Win 2003 as a media server.

If upgrading to BE 2014, Win 2003 R2 SP2 (32-bit or 64-bit) can be used, else if upgrading to BE 15, then only 64-bit Win 2003 R2 SP2 can be used as a media server from the Win 2003 family.
