I have an inter-site Microsoft Exchange DAG 2010 SP1 on WAN network.
My local site mount the active copy of two mailbox MX-A and MX-B.
The passive copy of mailboxs MX-A and MX-B are on remote site and are healthy.
My symantec backup exec job is set to backup from active copy only (on local site) but the job backup the mailbox from passive copy (on remote site).
how to BE decide from wich mailbox copy backup doing ?
Every suggestion is appreciated.

Best regards.

Riccardo.

You have an option to specify a preferred server for backups .In Exchange tab, you have an option of selecting whether you want active copy to be backed up or passive copy. If you select active copy there, we will go to the exchange server which has active copy of database and back it up.
