System State Restore

Sirs,

I am not too familiar with BackupExec10 but I am so angry with myself at forgetting how to restore a backup of system state, pretty important eh

I have gone into services and changed Backupexec dependancies to start under the local system account, and SQL as well,

I can connect to backupexec now in directory services restore mode, but get an error when trying to restore the system state

"authentication failed on connection to the server. make sure that the user account has appropriate permissions..."

please can someone tell me what i am doing wrong

Hi Dan,

If you have taken the full backup of your registry then all you have to do is click on Restore tab and then select the whole system state as you cannot restore individual items for restore.
