I need expert advise on the issue we are facing with Veritas Backup Exec and the Dell tape library ML3.
Backup Server is Windows Server 2016.
Tape library is connected to backup server using single FO cable.
The backup operation works fine for a few days. Last time it worked fine for 5 days, then all of a sudden tape library is shown as offline on backup software.
After rebooting backup works fine, after a few days it goes offline again.
Dell support team upgraded the firmware and replaced the robotic library, still the issue persists.
What could be the possible solution for this issue?
I'd just add to pkh's pertinent questions above, was the cable also replaced? Was about the actual drive?
