Let's start at the beginning:
1. Did you just install BE 11d?
2. If yes, did you verify the backup device(s) you have are compatible with BE 11d?
3. What OS are you using and did you load the manufacturer's device drivers?
4. If you just installed BE, did you run the enviroment checker to see if the devices were found?
5. Make sure your backup drive is turned on and the LED's are lit.
6. Try creating a test backup job abd backup a single folder to another internal hard drive. If that works, this is probably a situation regarding a driver or device problem with your backup drive.
