Tape restoration

Hi,
for DR purpose, i was thinking if its possible tapes written by Backup Exec via Dell tape Vault, can be restored to a single tape drive using Backup Exec? how about the barcodes?

Yes you will be able to restore them with different tape drive or library. When you write the data on tape the BE gives the label to the tape and when you want to restored the data at different server or library make sure you run the inventory and catalog the tape. Once that is done you should be able to read from the tape and can restored data,.
