Test Run for Exchange 2003 Backup Shows Negative Byte Count

BE 12.5 on Windows Server 2003 SP2; When I perform a backup test run of my Exchange 2003 server I get a successful result, but with a byte count of -94. The backup job itself runs fine, the remote agent is up to date. Any thoughts on this?
