Check the 2 TNs below and make sure you've done all the required steps:

Are you using a domain account with Domain Admin rights at a minimum? If so, is it a member of that server's Local Admins group on which you're getting the error?

Thanks!

Both servers are on a different workgroup, so i am using a local user admin.

I have uninstalled the backup exec agent on the Oracle Server, restart and then install it manually. After i confugured the Backup exec utility.

When i try to add the server on the Symantec console i get this error (attachment)

OK...so on the media server's security section you need to add in the remote server's admin account as follows: IP_Address\Administrator and put in the password.

When you push-install the RAWS agent to this server, use the account you created.

Ideally you need to be using a domain admin account as this gets rid of all your authentication issues, and it is easier when backing up Exchange, SQL etc. That said, make sure port 10000 is open on any firewalls between the servers too.

Thanks!

Is mandatory to use a domain admin account? Do you think the problem if for this?

Could you please share with me a screenshot ot those media server´s security section?

BE is designed to work in a domain.  See this document on the requirements for the BESA.

No, it isn't mandatory, but it is highly recommended. It really makes life a lot easier. I don't have BE 2012 loaded anywhere, but check the Admin Guide on how to add in an additional account.

Thanks!
