The Selected Server is not a valid managed back Exec server

Dear All,

                   i hope you all will be fine i have query in my production environment Symantec back up exec 2012 is running unexpected power failure was occured in saturday night. when i came to office in monday morning the back jobs was not running . the error message show is  below.

"The selected server is not a valid managed backupexec server the job may be retargeted."

kindly give me the advice how to resolve this problem

Were these incremental / differential backups not running ?

If yes, rerun the full backups first and then run the incr/diff and observe.

Do you have a CASO environment? If so, remove the MMS and re-add it (assuming this is the MMS).

You might also want to look at repairing your BEDB as per below:

If you are not running CASO then click on the BE button, click on Add Options and remove the MMS option
