The job failed with the following error: Physical Volume Library Media not found.

I have a backup Job error like this 

That Job backup for monthly with Synthetic Menthod in This system

 

I don't know how the error happened because I have run this system over 2 years and there isn't fail like that.

Please give me some solution for this case! Thanks alots!

Is this job backing up to tape or disk?

What version of Backup Exec are you running?

Do you have all the latest patches installed?

This Job is backed up to HDD disk

So It's version 2010.

Will Patches fix this problem?

Patches fix many issues and it is strongly reccommended to check for available live updates often especially when your backups are problematic.

Are you running Backup exec R2 or R3?  If you are just running the base version of BE 2010, you should upgrade to Backup Exec 2010 R3.

Forget about your existing jobs.  Define a new backup job which does the same thing as the existing jobs.
