The medium is not compatible with the device or media pool

We purchased some new media to expand out library. Same manufacturer just larger tape media. Going from 1.5TB  to 2.5TB. I went to label the media and got this error. The medium is not compatible with the device or media pool.

If you have a LTO5 tape drive, you would not be able to read a LTO6 tape.  Hence the incompatibility.

You would need a LTO6 tape drive to read LTO6 tapes.
