The return value for Microsoft SQL Express returned error code: 1603

Can you confirm the verion of SQL on which your Backup Exec 11d is running on..??

If its running on MSDE then first upgrade the SQL to MS SQL Express and then perform the upgrade.

Are you trying to uninstall Backup Exec 2010 R2 from the server??

You can click on YES in that error and later uninstall the BKUPEXEC instance of SQL present on that server.
