The only two similar cases I came across in our knowledgebase were fixed by respectively:

1. Upgrading from BE16.1 to BE16.2 (eg installing Feature Pack 2)

However if you are not on FP2 already you will need a current maintenance contract to get it from the downloads page (https://www.veritas.com/content/support/en_US/downloads) in which case its probably worth raising a support call with Veritas anyway, although as BE16 is now EOL, you will need to be upgrading to a newer version (eg v20 or 21) to get support (unless you have Extended support I believe - details here: https://www.veritas.com/content/support/en_US/eosl

2. Running BEMIG as per https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.100018032

Bemig is generally used when upgrading the version of BE, not when moving to a different OS, however I would still recommend you check out that TN.

Dear Hiepvu,

Pleased to hear  that - thanks for the update. Would be interested to hear which of these two options fixed it in your case - might help others in the future too that come across the same error.

Dear PJ_backup

My current maintaince contract has expired, so I must follow option 2

Fortunately, it's worked
