TrendMicro Officescan 8 created problem

I recently upgraded Trend Micro's Officescan to v8 from 7.3 and now my Disk2Disk backup is really slow.  I have since downgraded back to v7.3 of Officescan and it is still slow.  The problem I think was caused by the firewall driver installation of Officescan 8.  I'm backing up to a REO 1000 disk system and was getting around 350Mb/min.  Now I'm getting a speed of about 80MB/min. 
 
I tried reinstalling the NIC drivers and that did not help.  I'm running Microsoft iSCSI.  When I look at the properties of the NICs the speed only goes up to 100MB even though I'm plugged into a GBIC.  I checked the GBIC and even switched to another GBIC and that didn't help.
 
Any ideas?

Hi Al,
 
When you downgraded did you uninstall Officescan 8 you and clean the registry entries.
You may need to contact Trend Micro support.

I did delete the registry entries and uninstalled the old version.  I also deleted the program folder. 
 
We also run tape backups to a Quantum SuperLoader 3 using DLT-S4 tapes and that seems to work fine.  It shows around 500MB/min.
