Trying to Install BE2010 on Windows XP SP3 but setup.exe fails and crashes

Im trying to install backup exec from DVD onto my windows XP SP3 PC. I go to the install Backup Exec and the setup runs for 2 seconds and crashes.

I checked the log file for backup exec and it shows the following:

How can i rectify this?

Did you download your installation DVD in 4 parts?  If so, try downloading it again, but this time using the link which gives you the whole DVD at one go.

Thanks for the help both Sush... and RahulG, those reference links work perfectly!

It seems I needed .Net Framework 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, and 3.5.
