Unable to Restore Data

I am trying to restore data from a backupset to an Alternate Location

There are two fields; Drive and Path. No matter how the details are entered it keeps prompting that Backup Exec cannot locate the destination drive. But the logon account being used has access to the network path

Check your permissions on the drive, and also make sure that if this is a server, that a RAWS agent is installed on it.

Have you tried using the FQDN of the device? This problem is usually a DNS or network path problem. Try adding a return path from the device to the media server in the DNS server

if you look at the text just below the drive box - you will see that the example is a \\server\drive letter

As such \\IPaddress on it's own is not valid in that box. \\IPaddress\D:  should be valid as an example

Note: The path box is for subfolders within the drive
