Unable to backup the Media server.

I installed Backup Exec 15 FP4 as a fresh installation in a Windows Server 2012 R2 (Standard (x64-64bit)).

Installation was successful.

Was able to backup the two remote agents that is added onto the media server.

Issue is I was getting alerts saying unable to receive the server configuration.

while checking found that Media server gives this alert.

Im wondering the media server is not establishing the trust with its own which is configured in the backup and restore tab.

The MEdia server is auto configured with its fully qualified domain name.

Unable to add backups to my media server.

As per teh alert, it asks to establish trust with itself.

When tried doing that, nothing happens.

Any help would be great!

by updating the credentials for the media server in the backup annd restore tab, that fixed the issue., I fixed it
