I am trying to restore a VMware Virtual Machine and got this error:

What version of BE and vCenter / ESXi?

Hi Ben,

They are BE2010R3 and VMware 6.0 (I know, I know)....

I don't recall seeing that error before, it's most likely this is going to be an incompatibility with the version of VDDK in 2010R3 and vCenter / ESXi 6.

I would suggest as a workaround to restore the VM's to local disk then use VM Converter to move them into the environment.
