Unknown reasons: BackupSelectionList. Backupscriptdetail (1 of 2) is NULL.

Now for the human stuff:

I have recently set up a B2D2T with BE 2014 (Version 14.1 Rev. 1786 64-bit) and two of my three HyperV hosts have the issue above, I cannot open, edit or delete the backup jobs from BE - if run they fail completely.

I've tried restarting the services on the BE Host via the Services manager and this didn't help, one of those HyperV hosts Is the same machine that hosts also, but the other HyperV server is not and has the same issue.

 

Can anyone make sense of this issue? - there seems to be no other information as the job log just says this:

Error: e00081da - Unable to load the job configuration information.

This is a problem inside the BEDB which may need a formal support case to solve

Are you able to point me in the right direction for opening a formal support case?

I have just come off the support call and was advised to install a hotfix which I have now installed and restarted the services but this has not resolved the issue.

I will schedule a reboot of the server tonight and report back tomorrow.
