Hi ,
We have a CAS/MMS Environment running on Backupexec 2012 Sp4.I had deleted a Managed backupexec server from centraladmin.I cannot add it back again. The option to specify central administration server is greyed out.BEDB is running on a remote sql server 2008r2.
The other MMS is working fine.
Any ideas how to get it work.
Regards

What happens when you select the first option?
Does it allow you to input the CASO server's name?
Also try a repair of the BEDB using BEutility.exe.
Thanks!

Are the services on the CASO running ?
Are you able to ping the CASO server via name and IP ?

I think you might have to remove the managed setting (a checkbox in a slightly earlier dialog box than the one on the screenshot ) and work through making that change all the way through the wizard. This will make it properly stand alone.
Then go back in and re-add the managed server setting which should allow you to specifiy the CAS

I've seen this happen personally before, and the repair normally always worked. It seems as if there is a bit of corruption left behind after removing an MMS, especially on a slow link.
Thanks!
