Update Backup Exec 12.5 to 2010 (Server Install, DLO and server agents)

Hi Everyone:

I'm getting ready to purchase an upgrade package from 12.5 to BackUp Exec 2010. We use the DLO option extensively so my question is... has anyone had a good experience with an update. What were the steps?

I assume it is an in-place upgrade but what about the DLO clients? Will the installed 12.5 clients backup to the 2010 server or will I have push an update?
