All of my Backup exec 11d servers with Live update enabled are displaying the following alert..
"Update VERSION RELEASE NOTIFICATION: BACKUP EXEC 12.0 was installed successfully, but requires a reboot to complete the installation."
After a reboot Backup exec still displays it's version as 11d.
Can this alert be ignored? I have found 11d to be very hit and miss on some servers with backups intermittantly failing and had thought about upgrading some of them to version 12 to see if version 12 was any better but not sure what to do now..is it Symantecs intention to upgrade long suffering users of version 11d to version 12?
