Upgrade to 9.1 to 11d "REQUIRE" Reboot ? and couple more Qs.

1. In general, will upgrade from Backup Exec 9.1 to 11d "require" a reboot?

2. If a server currently has 9.1 remote agent and open files agent and I only push out and upgrade to 11d remote agent and not the open files agent, what happends to the open files agent?

3. How can you tell if a server has Open files agent installed?

The upgrade will not need a reboot,however it is better if you reboot later!

The remote agent and the Open file option both have to be push installed since remote agents are NOT backward compatible

Please look for a driver vsp.sys in System32/drivers.
