Upgrade to Backup Exec 2012 fails with DLO Licensing error.

Error : 

Backup Exec Desktop and Laptop Option feature has been detected on this machine. You must either migrate the Backup Exec Desktop and Laptop feature to Symantec Desktop and Laptop Option or uninstall the Backup Exec Desktop and Laptop Option feature and retry the Backup Exec installation.

Solution :

If you intend to use DLO, run the DLO installation prior to Backup Exec 2012 installation. This will upgrade DLO.

If you do not wish to migrate the DLO data from previous versions to Backup Exec 2012, uninstall the license for DLO from the previous versions.

If the option is not enabled in the previous versions, try adding the license in Trial Mode and run the upgrade for Backup Exec 2012.
