Hi,

I have created a new media pool containing 2 disks and set the pre-existing jobs to backup to the new media pool.

When I run the Test Run this completes successfully.

The jobs are failing with the following errors:

Job ended: 08 December 2017 at 22:40:26
Completed status: Failed
Final error: 0xe000fe36 - Corrupt data encountered. See the job log for details.
Final error category: Resource Errors

When I look at the job log it shows that all the items have been skipped.

I am trying to run 2 jobs. the first a Full recovery mode and the second a Simple recovery mode. Both jobs are running at the same time.

No other backups run.

Server 2012 R2 and Backup Exec 2012

If both these jobs are running on the same resource (Same resource being backed up at the same time or same server) then these errors are due to VSS issues.

Check the application and system log on the server it's failing on.

Look for" Volsnap" or "VSS" event log errors.

Then review the details of the events.  The details should be self explanatory and there are existing technotes to aide in the resolution.
