Running BE 2012 and I have been able to successfully backup my VM's. I get a status of completed (not successful) and I check the job and it lists the files and servers that have been backed up. But when I try to run a restore there is noting listed on the tapes. What am I missing here?
I suspect that this is done by adding in something like ShareName$ to the folders to be backed up. You can use a hidden share as a backup target, so there is no reason not to backup a hidden share. Just a bit of reverse engineering.
