VNX (OE 7.1) ndmp possible with Backup Exec 2010?

Hello,

is it possible to do a VNX NDMP backup with VNX File OE 7.1 and Backup Exec 2010 ? The HCL only lists VNX File OE 7.0 for BE 2010. Is there a patch available or a workaround for using ndmp with VNX OE 7.1?

Hi,

That's a minor patch so it might work. However, check the HCL...it prompts you to check the EMC E-Labs site where you might get additional information.

Just an aside...BE 2012's HCL also shows OE 7.0...no support officially for the latest version.

BE 2012 HCL does mention VNX File 7.1 (pg 133) as supported & BE 2010 does not support VNX File 7.1
