We are using BE2012 and since the first day we are having troubles with the Exchange 2010 Backup. We have tried to solve these issue's for a long time but without succes so far. We are desperatly looking for a solution!
Our BE2012 is up to date (13 dec 2012) and it runs on a Windows 2008 R2 Server. The Exchange 2010 is also Windows 2008 R2 Server. The Exchange 2010 Server has Forefront protection for Exchange installed on it.
We are using a Datadomain 610 for backup storage. It's basicly a network share which is connected in Backup Exec 2012.
The backup fails almost everytime with one of the errors below
V-79-57344-759 - Unable to complete the operation for the following reason: VFF Open Failure.
V-79-57344-65233 - Snapshot Technology: Initialization failure on: "\\Servername\Microsoft Information Store\Mailbox Database 0110878129". Snapshot technology used: Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS).
Snapshot technology error (0xE000FED1): A failure occurred querying the Writer status.
Check the Windows Event Viewer for details.
Writer Name: Exchange Server, Writer ID: {76FE1AC4-15F7-4BCD-987E-8E1ACB462FB7}, Last error: The VSS Writer failed, but the operation can be retried (0x800423f3), State: Waiting for backup complete notification (5).
After the Exchange server reboots the backup will most likly run good for 3 days. After that it fails again with one of the above errors. When this happens the VSS writer fails.
"vssadmin list writers" on the backup server gives this error:

Last error: Timed out
Can anyone help me with this problem? Maybe we can run diagnostics adn debug loggin?
