Validate VM for Recovery fails

Anyone receive this error when trying to validate a VM for Recovery or doing an instant recovery of a VM?

- Backup Exec cannot validate virtual machine 'Validate_machinename'.

Completed status: Failed
Final error: 0x8007006e - The system cannot open the device or file specified.
Final error category: Other Errors
