Verify job fails on backupset located on 2 tapes.

Hello!

I have a problem:

Backupset located on 2 tapes.

I have separated jobs: one for backup and one for verify.

Backup job complited successfully.

Verify job failed with next error:

Completed status: Failed
Final error: 0xe000fe34 - A checksum of the data has failed.
Final error category: Resource Errors

Difference encountered in file data.

The file **** is different.

 I changed tapes to new and i have the same error.

Recovery process for file **** from tape compelete successfully.

Next step:

I'am trying to backup data to disk (after backup verify job complete successfully), then duplicate this backupset to tape, and always have verification error on tape 2 (when verify backupset on tape).

I need help.

Is this happening with any specific type of data backup ? (like, vm, exchange, flat file, etc) What is the version of Backup Exec?

Is the compression and encryption enabled? (software/hardware)?

Hello!

1. Yes, with different type of data (Lotus base, ms word files..)

2. Comperssion disabled, encryption enabled.

There was another experiment. I use new 2 LTO6 tapes (change 2 tapes in magazine). Then i duplicate  data from disk to tape, then i run verification. Verification was complited without errors or warnings.

This is strange, because error was on 2 different libriares in different server rooms.
