Verify problem when duping existing B2D jobs to tape with added encryption.

I'm trying to duplicate existing unencrypted B2D jobs to tape with encryption but the verify of the duplicate fails. The log shows that it sees the sets as encrypted and the first set doesn't report this verify error, but all subsequent sets report the same error.
 
  Error  : e000fe34 - A checksum of the data has failed.
Running a seperate verify job gives the same error. Making the encryption key the default has no effect. However I am able to restore files from this encrypted tape without problems.
 
I'm running Symantec Backup Exec 11d (Version 11.0 Rev. 6235). Live Update reports no outstanding updates to install.

Please advise if you are backing up any Utility Partitions in these jobs. If so, the current workaround is to deselect the Utility Partition, or turn off encryption for the jobs that backup the Utility Partitons.
