The Backup Exec team is excited to announce that Veritas Backup Exec 21.3 is certified to support VMware Cloud on AWS SDDC 1.16. We support all the configs mentioned in the KB article: https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/80963
Veritas Backup Exec provides data protection services for virtual machines hosted on the VMware Cloud on AWS. The Backup Exec server uses the Hot Add transport mode for efficient backup and restores virtual machines that reside on a vSAN datastore. The Hot Add transport mode requires a backup host installed in a virtual machine per cluster.
