Veritas Backup Exec 9.1 LTO2 Device Drivers

Hi all,

I came across a similar post to this earlier which had a successful resolution so fingers crossed!

We currently have in our office Backup exec 12 but also another system running 9.1, we're trying to reset up this device to perform a seperate backup to our norm using a certance LTO2 tape drive, we used this before and know we need to update the 9.1 device drivers that used to be available here http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/273853.htm which is not available any more.

Is there any chance of these being provided?

Hello,

You can try:
1  : Go to tools-->Device configuration Wizard and install Symantec Drivers through the Wizard...

Backup Exec 9.1 is End of Life and Symantec pulled the drivers.

Hi Dev,

I'm afraid not despite telling it to use Symantec drivers as you indicate through the wizard, in device manager it still shows as using a Quantum driver at present.
