Veritas Backup exec 9.1 - USB Tape Drive

Hey all,

I have a newly built windows 2003 Server with Backup Exec installed on it!

I have a USB2.0 HP Dat72 drive attached to the server, with the drivers from HP installed, it appears in Device Manager.

But i cant seem to get Backup Exec to find it in the device list, when i use the device wizard it does not seem to search for USB devices, only IDE, SCSI and some other Veritas Device drivers.

All software is upto date with the lastest patches/updates.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Currently BackupExec v9.1 does not support USB Tape Drive.
