Hello all,
I have Veritas 10 with all of the latest patches on a Windows 2003 R2 server with SP2 and all the latest patches on it. I also have Quickbooks Pro 2007 with all the latest patches on it. Veritas is backing up this server alone.
The following is what is going on: Upon reboot (whether cold or warm it does not matter) the Veritas does not come up fully, even though the services state that all the Backup Exec services have started and there are no errors in the Event Viewer. In order to get Veritas to run I have to go into services and stop the Backup Exec Engine and then restart it. It will eventually start and then life seems to be good.
This started to happen when Quickbooks Pro was put onto the server. Quickbooks is required to be on the server if mutliple people are getting into the data files.
Is this a case where we should upgrade to the latest version of Veritas to fix this type of problem?
Thanks in advance for your help,
