I have a 2003 SP1 server that has started getting this message every few days. I reboot the server and the problem goes away for a random about of days.
I also get another error message in the eventlog every minute or so until the server is rebooted.
"An I/O operation initiated by the Registry failed unrecoverably. The Registry could not read in, or write out, or flush, one of the files that contain the system's image of the Registry."
This seems to appear right before Backup Exec has a problem.
I am running 10.1 rev 5629 under installed updates it says SP3.
Looking through the backup exec logs it happened around the 1st of August then was fine until the 18th. I have had a reoccurence since that time on the 20th, Sept 7th and then lastnight the 13th. Each time a reboot fixes it.
