We purchased new HP LTO4 WORM tapes and successfully ran inventory of those tapes. But, once I've run the job the status was just on queued seems not recognizing any WORM tapes. I've checked the bar code rules it was properly set. Not sure why having this problem from previous purchased of WORM we don't having this issue. Do you have any suggestion to resolve the issue? Thanks.

Did previously purchased WORM tapes work with the same tape drive ? And if i recall, the tape drive should have the "1" symbol denoting its a WORM-compatible drive.

What alert do you receive when the backup job is queued ? Does it mention the media is incompatible ?

Is there any alert which is generated ?

When you select the option to use WORM media, Backup Exec verifies that the destination device is or contains a WORM-compatible drive. Backup Exec also verifies that the WORM media is available in the drive. If WORM media or a WORM-compatible drive is not found, an alert is sent and the backup job may fail.
