Want to create a seperate incremental job seperate from full

I have full backup jobs that are setup and have run. The problem comes in when I want to setup the incremental jobs. The only option I see is to setup the incremental at the time I setup the full backup, which I do not want to do because I want the incrementals to run on a different schedule than the full. Can this be done? Or am I jsut missing where this can be done?

Thanks,

Jay

Yes, you can have the incrementals running at a different schedule...What is the version of BE ? And are you trying a stand-alone job or policy based jobs ?

I have BE 2010 R3. I am running stand alone jobs. Do you have to setup the incremental at the same time you setup the full? Or since I have the fulls already built, can an incremental be setup seperate (or added onto the full)?

You can create an incremental job, scheduled as you wish, and call the same selection list

since this is BE 2010 & not BE 2012, it would be a separate job for the incr

Here is the list of jobs I can setup. Unless I am starting a job incorrectly.
